Coping Through Football nominated for Legacy award

CTF nominated for Legacy award

One of the Foundation’s projects, Coping Through Football, has been short listed for a London Legacy Award and £60,000 worth of funding.

Coping Through Football is one of five projects up for the award which will be decided by a public vote. The winner will be the project which receives the most votes.

The award will be presented at a summit hosted by Beyond Sport an organisation that seeks to support projects that use sport to drive positive social change.

Alex Welsh said “Winning this award would help extend the project and reach more Londoners who suffer from long term mental illness.”

The winner will be announced by London Mayor Boris Johnson at the Beyond Sport Summit on 8th July.
