THE FOUNDATION'S STRATEGIC ROLE

The Foundation is recognised as the main charity for the provision, protection and promotion of playing fields in Greater London. The Foundation works closely with, and has been represented on the managing bodies of several organisations concerned with recreation in Greater London e.g.

•  The ALG Playing Fields Group
•  London Sports Board
•  Greater London Football Partnership Group
•  Association for Sports Development in London
•  London Sports Forum for Disabled People
•  London 2012 Forum

Through these bodies the Foundation is able to represent the views of its users and influence decisions on policies concerning sport in the capital.
