Jenna
Schillaci
Announces
Retirement

our administration and bookings officer, jenna schillaci has announced her retirement from professional football.

Jenna, who is currently Club captain at Tottenham Hotspur Women and has previously played for Queens Park Rangers and Enfield Town, led Tottenham Hotspur Women to promotion to the FA Women’s Super League (WSL) in 2019.

All of us at London Playing Fields Foundation would like to salute Jenna on a great career. Over the last decade she has been a legend on and off the pitch and a fantastic ambassador for the women’s game.

Our Chief Executive Alex Welsh said: “We are immensely proud of Jenna’s achievements and have first-hand experience of her wonderful human qualities. Having given up the daily demands of professional football means that we look forward to seeing more of Jenna in her LPFF role. Just like at Tottenham Hotspur Women FC, Jenna is an indispensable member of our team. Well done Jenna and all the very best in the next stage of your football life, whatever that might be.”

Jenna said: “I have had the most amazing career with the club I love. I am proud and honoured to have led the club from grassroots football to the WSL. It’s been an incredible journey for me, I have achieved things that as a young girl I could only have dreamt of and have memories to last me a life time. I am excited for the next part of my journey and hope to continue to inspire the next generation.”
