London Playing Fields Foundation is a charity that protects, promotes and provides playing fields for 300,000 Londoners. We believe that sport can improve lives and are passionate about promoting the use of playing fields to local communities as well as protecting open spaces in London from development. We also run several life-changing projects that provide sporting opportunities for some of London’s most disadvantaged groups, like our Coping Through Football project which helps people with mental health problems get their lives back on track through football.
We are looking for a consultant to assist the Foundation with its Social/Digital Media activity and content creation on an initial 3-month contract with a view to extend it if successful.
AIMS
You will have had experience in managing social media campaigns, creating digital content and managing social media channels. As well as a passion for communication and engaging with different audiences and a flair for creating and designing content. This is an exciting opportunity to take on and develop a social media campaign, working as part of a team at the same time as being confidently self-sufficient.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
What the role will look like
16 hours per week of flexible working with and reporting to LPFF Communications Manager. The role, which will suit a freelancer working within the media sector, will be based on a three-month contract @ £1,000 per month. The contract will be reviewed at the end of the initial three-month period.
