Five reasons to attend or sponsor our Gala Dinner

  • Hear from high-profile keynote speakers, which have included former London Mayor and current prime minister Boris Johnson, former prime minister Sir John Major, sports presenter Clare Balding and lyricist Sir Tim Rice. MC Martin Bayfield will host the evening, regaling the audience with hilarious sporting stories and reminding people why playing fields are so important.
  • Get the chance to take home exclusive gift experiences in our silent and live auctions, including everything from lunch with sporting legends to money can’t buy experiences.
  • Honour stars who have grown up in London and owe a debt of gratitude to a local playing field where their love of sport was ignited. Each year we present a Made in London Award to a deserving sports star. Past winners include Harry Kane (2016), Christine Ohuruogu (2017) Teddy Sheringham (2018) and Maggie Alphonsi (2019).
  • Come along with your colleagues to show your support for London’s playing fields, network and team build. Organisations that have attended the event include Khayami Foundation, Cadogan Estate, Mace, Zurich, Prudential, BT Sport, Goldman Sachs, Savills, Cazenove, Barclays, PWC, and the Professional Footballers’ Association.
  • Sponsor the event through your company or provide prizes for the auction to help raise as much as possible to improve people’s lives through sport. Companies that have done this include Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Emirates, Vitality, Tottenham Hotspur FC, Arsenal FC, The FA, The Premier League and the Professional Cricketers’ Association.
